This rare piece came straight from the American Stock Exchange. NYSE Euronext purchased AMEX in 2008. This gavel set features a gorgeous lacquered wood base with brass accents. The gavel is solid brass and weighs over 1.3 lbs. by itself. The gavel handle is etched, "AMERICAN STOCK EXCHANGE".

Dimensions: Gavel 8" long. Base 10" x 3". Fantastic condition. Comes with the original box which has some wear. Vintage: unknown.
