The Baltimore Gas & Electric Co. dates back nearly 200 years. The company provides gas and electricity to Baltimore and central Maryland. The company was a business unit of Constellation Energy, A Fortune 200 Company based in Baltimore and the nation's leading competitive supplier of electricity to large commercial and industrial customers. Constellation Energy was bought out by Exelon Corporation in 2012.
