About the Artist
Jayne Merrell studied art and music at the University of Texas. Jayne has a degree in Art and Sciences. She is an accomplished mountain climber whose realism of music and visual arts has been reinvented into contemporary abstract acrylics and mixed media. Her memories and emotions strive to attract a natural rather than constructed rhythm from the composition, a rhythm emanating from the expansiveness of the gesture from the restrained use of color and the pervasive luminosity. Jayne loves to paint existential universe through universes to seek an awareness of r-factors in quest for the ultimate universe beyond all of mankind’s current perceptions. Jayne was a mutual fund liquidator before becoming an artist. Jayne’s work can be found in numerous galleries reaching out to others.
