Texaco Inc. was founded as the Texas Fuel Company in 1901 in Beaumont TX. Texaco and it's logo the "lone star" (for Texas) with a T became one of the most nationally recognized gasoline companies. Texaco merged with Chevron in 2001. This Texaco debenture includes the Texaco seal and an ornate image of oil wells and refineries. This certificate symbolizes the booming American oil industry. Issued in the 1970s.
