This very rare piece was printed in 1958 and is entitled How America Grew...The "Invention" That Made Big Business Possible, by Fred G. Clark and Richard S. Rimanoczy. It depicts, in comic form, the birth and rise of the modern day American stock exchange. From private companies forming public corporations, this story-line walks the viewer through the formation of the New York Stock Exchange in 1792 in what would be known as the Buttonwood Agreement.
