This stock ticker ashtray dates from the 1970s and is made of a solid oak wood base with a brass plaque and glass dome. Perfect for spare change or paperclips! Plaque reads, "EDISON STOCK TICKER Designed by Thomas Edison in 1870 this stock ticker was used for receiving stock quotations from the nation's leading exchanges for over 80 years."

These can easily be used for loose change, car keys etc. Just remove the top of the ashtray and now its a nice desk tray.

Base measures 8.5" x 5" and is about 5" tall to top of the glass dome. Weighs 2lb. 5oz. Very cool display piece.
