Description

This rare Charge Ticket from the New York Curb Exchange details a transaction on 2/24/1936 between Ford, Heald, & CO and Fenner & Beane for 5 bond shares of CPS. Fenner & Beane was found in 1916 and later merged with Merrill Lynch to become Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Beane in 1941.

The back features 3 fantastic stock transfer stamps. The display is clear so you can view both sides of the ticket.

The New York Curb Exchange was established in the early 1900s. It got it's name because brokers actually traded on the "curb" outside the New York Stock Exchange. It's name became formalized as the New York Curb Exchange in 1929 and eventually was renamed the American Stock Exchange in 1953.

Rare piece of Stock Market History!!!
