Description

This rare find depicts the life of a young Thomas Edison by W.E. Wise. It contains many photographs and illustrations of Edison and his inventions. Two of the most interesting chapters are entitled Black and Friday and Forty Thousand Dollars! They tell of how Edison came to work as a Telegrapher and invented the Edison Universal Stock Ticker Machine. This little book is great read.

Young Edison was later made into a movie starring Mickie Rooney.
