This Buffalo, Rochester & Pittsburg Railway Company Stock Certificate is from 1892. Hand-signed. The rail line was largely responsible for the transportation of coal from Pennsylvania to Buffalo and Rochester New York. The Railway was purchased by the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad in 1932. The vignette features a steam engine on the right and a rail yard on the left which is partially obstructed by the stub.
