This rare solid bronze medallion was minted by the Medallic Art Co in 1985 to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of Coca-Cola. This high quality medallion was produced exclusively for Coca-Cola in stunning high relief and detail and weighs over 9 oz.

The Obverse features Halley's Comet in its exact orbital position on May 8, 1986 to illustrate the timelessness of Coca Cola. The space shuttle in orbit symbolizes the continuous leadership of Coca-Cola, the first soft drink to be consumed in outer space. The reverse features historic scenes such as Jacobs Pharmacy, where it was first sold as well as Asa G. Candler, the founder of the Company.

One of nicest medallions we have seen from the Medallic Art Co. Gorgeous. In its original box as well as an insert describing the medal and its history.
