It's full of information of how soldiers should protect themselves and their families when they leave for the war. Information like this was not popular or readily available back then. Topics range from protecting your property, steps to take, benificiaries and life insurance, to powers of attorney.

A really neat feature of this booklet is that it has a section for "Things to Remember" during the War that the soldier can fill in. It has a page dedicated to their induction record, transfers while in service including promotions and pay, record of foreign service, and names and addresses of buddies i'd like to remember.
