Description

This rare Wall Street painting features the Buttonwood Agreement, the meeting that established the modern day New York Stock Exchange in 1792. The Buttonwood agreement consisted of 24 stock brokers who met under a buttonwood tree on Wall Street. The painting depicts the Federalist period wonderfully with sailing ships in the background.

The painting is canvas print with oil brush strokes added in by hand. We believe it dates around the 1980s. Professionally framed in a stunning decorative wood frame in a gold/bronze tone with a hand stretched linen matte and decorated wooden molding accents.

Perfect for any Financial Advisor's office!
