Companies often give out commemorative awards to high ranking officers, traders, and bankers to celebrate an IPO offering. This is one of coolest we've seen and the first one to cross our path in 8 years. These Marvel IPO awards featuring Spider-Man are very hard to find!

This award features Spider-man atop a skyscraper striking a pose. The building is made from some sort of metal or ceramic composite material (heavy and dense). Spider-Man is made from solid painted metal and by himself weighs 9 oz! It measures 10.5" High and weighs over 3 lbs.

The building has fantastic embossed detail (not simply printed) of the 1991 IPO of Marvel on the NYSE. The deal was managed by Merrill Lynch & Co. and The First Boston Corporation. Marvel is now owned by Walt Disney.

Condition: Spider-Man's paint will have some paint chips which is typical for the pieces we have seen. The base has some shelf wear and scratches. Awesome show piece.
