Description

Treasury Secretary Henry Morgenthau requested Irving Berlin write a song to help the U.S. war effort in 1941. All royalties went to the U.S. Treasury. Any War Bonds Today? is the five page sheet music of this song and features Uncle Sam on the cover. Fantastic piece of American History and a perfect piece for framing. Irving Berlin, a devout patriot, would go on to write many songs during WW II including "This is the Army".

Oddly enough,Irving Berlin was born in Russia and is considered one of the greatest songwriters in American History. He has written approx 15,000 songs including hits "Puttin on the Ritz", Anything You Can Do (I Can Do Better)", and "There's No Business Like Show Business".
