Description

Rare piece of memorabilia from the New York Stock Exchange Trading Floor. This specialist "stock book" contained trading sheets for entering public buy and sell orders by specialist. They would enter the brokerage firm, office, sequence number and price. Here, the Specialist did individual trading acting as an agent. Stocks were then trading at 1/8 dollar increments as indicated on the sheets in the binder.
