The Mohawk and Malone Railway Company was started by William Seward Webb who was the president of the Wagner Palace Car Company. It began operations in 1892 was later operated by the New York Central and Hudson River Railroad in 1893. It ran from Malone Junction crossing the northern Adirondacks north of Tupper Lake in New York.
