Description Extended Information

Established in 1873 in Golden, Colorado the Adolph Coors Company is now part of Molson Coors which produces some of the most wide enjoyed beers in the world. Their brewery in Golden is the largest single brewery in the world. This rare specimen stock certificate is perfect for any brewery or stock certificate collector. The vignette features the Joseph Coors standing in front of a Globe.

This rare specimen proof of a Adolph Coors stock certificate is oversized as it has not been trimmed yet and still show the trim lines on the edges. This rarity was printed in the 1930s. Very rare.

Specimen stock certificates are certificates that were archived by printers and the company as perfect examples of the company’s stock issue. Specimen’s can be identified by their “specimen” stamp, stamped holes spelling “specimen”, or they are often issued with a serial number of a series of zeros. Often, they are also issued with no serial number at all. Specimens can also represent a design that was never issued. All of these attributes make the specimen stock certificate rarer than the issued version of the share. Many enthusiasts collect specimens as a whole new category of Scripophily.
