Atlas Mining and Milling Corporation stock certificate is un-issued. Incorporated in Utah. The Atlas Mine was a gold and silver mine located near Ouray, Colorado in the Mount Sneffles Mining District. The district was located in the San Juan Mountains of SW Colorado. The mine was discovered in 1876 and produced until it closed in 1924. It employed over 600 men at its peak and produced over $1 billion in gold and silver in today's dollars.
