The Beech Creek Railroad was formed in 1882 and originally ran between the Jersey Shore and Mahaffey.  The railroad was leased to the New York Central and Hudson River Railroad in 1890.  Issued in 1927, the bond certificate features a great steam strain rolling through the hillside.  Hand signed oversized bond 13.5" x 9".
