This Bourne Mills Stock Certificate was issued in 1945 and is hand signed by the company president. Features a vignette of the founder John J. Bourne. Bourne Mills was incorporated in Fall River, Massachusetts in 1881 and operated cotton textile mills until 1953 when Bekshire Hathaway purchased the mill and later resold it. It was renamed the Tiverton Industrial Plant in 1982.
