This Buffalo, Rochester & Pittsburg Railway Company $1000 Bond Certificate is from 1940 and is hand-signed. The rail line was largely responsible for the transportation of coal from Pennsylvania to Buffalo and Rochester, New York. The Railway was purchased by the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad in 1932. Still has the rare Agreement Relating to the Consolidated Mortgage Bond still attached.
