This Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad Company Bond Certificate was un-issued from 1958. The Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railway Company started in 1847 as the Rock Island and La Salle Railroad but was changed to the Chicago and Rock Island Railroad in 1851. The railway stretched from Minneapolis MN in the north, Galveston TX in the south, Denver CO in the West, and Chicago IL in the east. Great vignette of a steam engine pulling a coal car with "America" on its side.
