This Detroit & Canada Tunnel Company Certificate was issued in 1929 and is hand-signed. Incorporated in 1927 in Michigan to operate the Detroit & Windsor Subway Company out of Canada which ran a tunnel for vehicles under the Detroit River. It ran between Detroit and Windsor in Ontario, Canada. It was known as the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel.
