Dow Jones Stock Ticker Clip Board | Vintage 1950s–1970s, 18.5" Long
Original Dow Jones / Wall Street Journal ticker tape clipboard, designed to hang from the side of a Dow Jones stock ticker tape machine. These clip boards are increasingly scarce and highly collectible. Brokers would use these to hold the ticker tape from the machine. These were known as the "broad" tape machines as their ticker tape was 5" wide. The ticker tape machine would have a hook on the side of it where these clipboard would hang. These Dow Jones clipboards also ranged in size. They pair well with vintage finance décor, trading floors, or educational displays about historical ticker tape technology.
