Food Fair Stores was a Grocery store chain that was founded as Reading Giant Quality Price Cutter in the 1920's.  The company grew and expanded and in the 1960's purchased a Philadelphia chain named Best Markets.  Best Markets private label was called Pantry Pride, eventually most of the Food Fair stores were converted over to the name and logo of Pantry Pride.  At it's peak the company had more than 500 stores  In 1993 the stores were sold to Fleming Companies. Issued in the 1940s - 50s for 100 shares.  Nice vignette of a woman with a basket of produce with a tractor in the background.
