About Goldberg Securities (and David Goldberg)

Goldberg Securities was founded by David Goldberg, a major figure in transforming the CBOT from a simple grain exchange into a global marketplace for agriculture and financial instruments. Goldberg is also closely associated with the early ecosystem that helped shape what became the Chicago Board Options Exchange.

He was an active wheat-pit trader and widely regarded as one of the best traders on the CBOT. He also served as a member of the Board of Governors of multiple organizations, including: the Chicago Board Options Exchange, the CBOT, the Chicago Stock Exchange, and the Options Clearing Corp and Securities Investor Protection Corp.
