This Hudson & Manhattan Railroad stock certificate was issued in 1947 features a fantastic harbor scene with the train running beneath it in the vignette. Known as the "tubes" the Hudson & Manhattan Railroad opened in 1908 and operated until 1968 when they were taken over by the Port Authority of NY and NJ. It was later renamed the PATH (Port Authority Trans-Hudson).
