This Lehigh Valley Transportation Stock Certificate was issued in 1915 and is hand-signed by the company president. Based in Allentown, PA, operations on the urban trolley began in 1901 and ran into the 1950s and finally closed in the 1970s. It ran a 36 mile interurban rail service from Allenton to Philadelphia.
