Lenox was founded by Walter Scott Lenox in 1889 in Trenton, New Jersey. It originally sold pottery as art, and one-of-a-kind pieces. Today Lenox sells a wide variety of products under the brands Dansk, Gorham and Reed & Barton. Some of their china were even commissioned by the White House. They were acquired by a private equity firm in 2020.
