Spear, Leeds & Kellogg Floor Trader Jacket – Now Goldman Sachs (Vintage est. 1980s–1990s)

This rare jacket was worn by Spear, Leeds & Kellogg (SLK) Floor Trader Specialists on the NYSE floor. SLK was one of the NYSE’s largest specialist firms, founded in 1931 and later acquired by Goldman Sachs in 2000, becoming a subsidiary of Goldman Sachs. As a market maker on the NYSE, SLK also offered clearing, trading, and their REDI electronic trading system, making this jacket a tangible link to a pivotal era in Wall Street history.

Manufactured by PECO (established 1919), the jacket features an embroidered SLK patch on the chest. The collar label bears the trader’s and firm’s name and city. As the relevance of floor traders dwindles, these jackets are becoming rare finds and are excellent for jersey display cases.
