Prior to the New York Stock Exchange trading floor overhead trading screens, each stock at various specialist posts had these stock symbol plaques above the stock's last sale price. These are authentic pieces straight from the NYSE trading floor. This Indicator Plaque was for Hanes Corp. The plaques and last sale indicators were used until 1980 when the old posts were torn down and replaced by more modern electronic displays.
