Description

This is a artist rendering of The New York Curb Exchange building in 1937 from the architectural blueprints of the building. It has a vertical cut through which illustrates the trading floor. It is presented on card stock like paper suitable for framing with exquisite detail and color highlights. Nice piece ready for any Wall Street Office

The New York Curb Exchange was established in the early 1900s. It got it's name because brokers actually traded on the "curb" outside the New York Stock Exchange. It's name became formalized as the New York Curb Exchange in 1929 and eventually was renamed the American Stock Exchange in 1953. The American Stock Exchange, once a competitor of the NYSE and the third largest U.S. stock exchange, was purchased by NYSE Euronext in 2008.
