This Oreano Mining Company, Limited Stock Certificate was issued in 1915 in Wallace, Idaho and is hand signed by the company president Herman Rossi. Oreano Mining was incorporated in Idaho in 1902 and consisted of five claims located in the Lelande Mining District near Burke. They purchased all the property of the Pearl Mining Company of South Dakota for 700,000 shares of stock to get started. They were purchased by Sherman Lead in exchange for 175,000 shares of Sherman stock.
