This Pennzoil-Quaker State Company Specimen Stock Certificate was printed in 1998. Pennzoil was founded in Los Angeles California in 1913. Pennzoil has been a long time sponsor of both Indy car and NASCAR racing. Pennzoil sponsored cars have won 3 Indy 500's in their "Yellow Submarine " cars.

Pennzoil's motor oil and products division was spun out in 1998 and was purchased by Quaker State. The new company Pennzoil-Quacker State was subsequently purchased by Royal Dutch Shell Group in 2002 making this specimen certificate pretty rare.
