This Peter Paul, Inc. Stock Certificate was issued in 1948. Peter Paul was founded in 1919 in New Haven, Ct. They introduced the Mounds Candy Bar in 1920. They later added the Almond Joy Candy Bar and the Peppermint Pattie through the purchase of the York Cone Company in 1972. They merged with Cadbury in 1978 whose U.S. operations would be purchased by Hershey in 1988.
