This Pittsburgh Cincinnati Chicago and St. Louis Railroad Company $1000 Gold Bond was issued in October of 1925 and is hand-signed. The Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Chicago, and St. Louis Railroad was formed in 1890. The railroad started in Pittsburgh through West Virginia and west to Ohio then north to Chicago and south to East St. Louis IL. The system was part of the Pennsylvania Railroad. It’s vignette features a powerful locomotive and men working on the rails.
