Publicker Industries started when Harry Publicker started steaming old whiskey barrels to extract the leftover whiskey.  The built it's first distillery in 1912 and produced brands such as Cobb's Creek, Embassy Club, Philadelphia, and Diplomat.  The company also produced industrial alcohol.   The company also operated an industrial chemical plate which ended up on the Hazardous Site National Priority List (NPL).  Issued 1970s
