Sunray DX Oil Company dates back to the 1920's when company gas stations began selling Diamond gasoline. At some point the company began marketing it's gasoline as DX or Diamond -X gasoline. In the 1968 the company was bought out by Sunoco and in the 1980's the DX brand was converted to Sunoco branded stations. Sunoco is most famous for it's sponsorship of the NASCAR racing series.  Issued 1960s - 1970s.
