This Baltimore Refrigerating & Heating Company Gold Bond certificate was issued in 1902 and hand-signed by the company president. Sourced directly from the city street mains, they provided steam heating for the city as well as ice blocks for cold storage. They were purchased by the Terminal Freezing and Heating Company in 1911 after foreclosure.
