The Baltimore and Ohio Southwestern Railway Company was incorporation in 1889 from the merger of 4 railways. These included the Cincinnati, Baltimore and Washington Railroad, Baltimore Short Line Railroad, Ohio and Mississippi Railroad, and the Cincinnati and Baltimore Railway. These stock certificates were issued in the 1890s and are hand signed.
