The Cincinnati, Indianapolis, St. Louis, & Chicago Railway Company was formed out the bankruptcy of the Indianapolis, Cincinnati, and Lafayette Railroad in 1880. The rail line connected these cities. It ultimately merged with other rail lines to form the Cleveland, Cincinnati, Chicago and St Louis Railway which was also known as the Big Four Rail Roads. Issued in 1885 and hand-signed by the company president.
