This The Delaware, Lackawanna & Western Railroad Co $1000 Bond was issued in 1950. The Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad Company was founded in 1853 and ran from Buffalo New York Hoboken New Jersey. The railroad suffered from reduced commodities traffic in the 1940's and by 1960 was merged with the Erie Railroad forming the Erie Lackawanna railroad.
