This rare unissued Bearer Bond from 1872 is from the Greene Rail Road Company. It has all 60 coupons attached from 1873 through 1902. The Greene Rail Road Company, a corporation of the State of New York is indebted to Percy R Lyne or Bearer the Sum of Five Hundred Dollars at the office of The Delaware Lackawanna and Western Railroad Company. Due on the first day of December in the year of our Lord. Paid 7% interest.

The Green Railroad Company formed in 1869 in New York and ran a single track line from Syracuse to the village of Greene, NY which was about 8 miles. The line was built by Lackawanna and construction was completed in 1871.
