This The Indiana, Illinois and Iowa Railroad Company $1,000 Gold Bond was issued in 1900 and is hand-signed. Known as the 31 route, it ran from Streator, IL to North Judson in 1881 and on to South Bend in 1894. They would merge into the New York Central Railroad and it would be known as the Kankakee Belt Route by-passing Chicago.
