This New York Central and Hudson river Rail Road Company stock certificate was issued from 1903 - 1914 and features Cornelius Vanderbilt on the vignette. The Hudson River Railroad was formed in 1845. In 1864 the railroad was bought by Cornelius Vanderbilt. In 1869 Vanderbilt merged the New York Central with the Hudson River Railroad to form the New York Central and Hudson River Railroad.

Each stock certificate is hand signed and filled.
