The Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Chicago, and St. Louis Railroad was formed in 1890. The railroad started in Pittsburgh threw West Virgina and west to Ohio then north to Chicago and south to East St. Louis IL. The system was part of the Pennsylvania Railroad. This Pittsburgh Cincinnati Chicago and St. Louis Railroad Company Bond was issued in October of 1944 at the height of WWII. It’s vignette features a powerful locomotive and men working on the rails.
