This $10,000 bond issued by The Washington Water Power Company in the 1970s-80s was due in 2006 and paid 8 3/4%.  The Washington Water Power Company was founded in 1889 to provide hydroelectric power to Spokane Falls using the Spokane River.  Over the years they expanded into Oregon and California and is now known as Avista after they changed their name in 1999.
