Description Extended Information

The Trans-Beacon Corporation traces its history back to Howard Hughes when he sold off his interest in RKP Pictures. The new owners spun off its library of of over 700 motion pictures for television syndication and these movies became known as Movie Time USA. The major sponsor for these movies on TV was C&C Cola, a division of the new company that was developed to take on Coca-Cola and Pepsi. The whole point was to sell soda. The new company changed its name to Trans-Beacon Corp in 1966. The company went bankrupt in the early 70s and United Artists purchased the film collection.

This Trans-Beacon Corp stock certificate was issued in the 1960s and features a lighthouse in the vignette.
