The Tung-Sol Electric Inc. started in 1907 in Newark, NJ and primarily made bulbs and headlamps for the automotive industry. Their name is derived from Tungsten and Latin work for sun, sol. They expanded into vacuum tubes in the 1920s and were later acquired by Wagner Electric which would merge with the famous auto manufacturer Studebaker-Worthington in 1967. Issued in the 1950s-60s.
