The United New Jersey Railroad and Transportation Company was founded in 1832 and began service between Newark and Jersey City in 1834.  In 1867 this railroad was merged with the Camden & Amboy Railroad to form the United New Jersey Railroad and Canal Company.  Issued in the 1910s.  Hand signed.  Vignette of a train a the depot picking up new passangers.
